If you look TEAM up online, you will see our test scores are not the highest in Stockton. We are not going to pretend otherwise. What a score cannot show you is a child who used to dread school walking in and being greeted by name, or a parent who finally has a school that answers the phone. That is the part we are proud of, and it is the part that changes how a kid feels about themselves.
"Leader in Me" is a real system, not a poster.
A lot of schools say they build leaders. TEAM actually runs Leader in Me, a nationally recognized program built on the 7 Habits, and we have earned Lighthouse School status for doing it well. In plain terms: your child learns to set their own goals, track them, and take responsibility, and they hear that they are a leader often enough to start believing it. That belief is what your child carries out the door.
